"WHICH POSES?"

Pick your favorite poses first. Your friends and family may help with your selections, but remember they're YOUR pictures, so make sure you get what you want!

"MY PARENTS AND I DON'T AGREE!"

It's okay if your parents choose poses for the wall and for relatives, and you choose completely different poses for your friends and for yourself.

"HOW BIG?"

The two recommended sizes for the wall are 20x24 for waist-up and full length poses, and 16x20 for closeups. Multi image wall collages are also very popular.

"HOW MANY WALLETS SHOULD I GET?"

Remember how your wallets will be used: for friends, family, college and job applications, and graduation announcements. Also, keep in mind that most of your friends will get and give more than one pose. The average senior orders 50-150 wallets, so make sure you get enough wit your original order - it's the best deal!

"WHAT ABOUT PREVIEWS?"

Previews, Folios, and Albums are available for purchase. Depending on what else you get, they may be available at a significant discount or even for free! Be sure to check our the Preview order discounts later in the Pricing Guide.

"CAN I ORDER MORE LATER?"

Your files will be retained throughout your senior year. If you need additional images, you may order them at reorder prices; of course, it's usually less expensive to get everything you need right away.

"DO THEY COME WITH FRAMES?"

All packages include custom frames for 5x7 portraits and larger - we do all the work for you, so that it is ready for you to display the minute you get home!

"I DON'T KNOW WHEN MY PARTY IS, SO I CAN'T ORDER MY INVITES YET, RIGHT?"

Actually, the design of your invites is what takes the longest, so you benefit with lower pricing by ordering your invitations early. Ordering now avoids the rush charge later. We simply will insert the DAY, DATE, and LOCATION for the prototype that you will approve for design. THEN, one you determine the specifics for your party, we insert that information and print.

"I'M NOT SURE THE WEEKEND IS ENOUGH FOR ME TO DECIDE WHAT TO ORDER?"

It's been our experience that no matter how much time you have to decide, all decisions are usually made the night before. PLUS...by placing your order within THREE days, you are eligible for FREE merchandise or VIP Red Pricing.

YOUR PORTRAITS ARE GUARANTEED!

Every effort was made during your session to help you get the kind of images both you and your parents want. You will have these portraits for the rest of your life, so you and your parents deserve to be happy with them.

If there is anything you don't like about your poses, please let us know within 24 hours after picking up your image book. While most concerns are fully correctable in the finished portraits, some are not. Some of the more common concerns are listed below.

FIXABLE CONCERN:

• Blemishes, acne, scars, moles, dark circles under eyes, and other skin imperfections: virtually anything having to do with your skin can be corrected on all finished portraits. (Exceptions: sunburned or peeling skin and tan lines, which are not part of the classic retouching service - see Art Services)
• Stray hairs: small stray hairs that bother you can be erased at a very nominal fee. Be sure to ask if you have questions.
• The image in you image book appears too light, too dark, or slightly off-color: the previews in this book are meant for making pose selections only, and have not been fully color-corrected. All finished portraits will be adjusted for perfect color. Please let us know if you have specific concerns regarding your poses when you order.

MAYBE YOU JUST NEED TO HAVE A FEW MORE POSES TAKEN:

• Your expressions aren't what either you or your parents want (too serious, too smiley, fake grin, etc.)? We normally try to get a variety of expressions in your portraits, but if we didn't get the right mix for you, we'll be glad to do more expressions to your liking (same clothing - same pose).
• Bad weather on your outside session: if the weather was too rainy or windy on your session day, we will certainly reschedule another time for you (outside portion of your session only). However, rainy portraits with umbrellas are exceptional, and evening portraits are some of our personal favorites!
• Totally wrong clothing or hair: sometimes what you think is going to work, doesn't. If it was all wrong and your friends and family agree, it's best to have more poses taken. If you are interested in additional outfits, etc., as about our retake session fee policy. Most of all, let us know your concerns - we want to help!

Prices are per pose and artwork is included on all portraits you order from that pose.
Our art service is guaranteed - either you love it or we'll do it again!

OPEN BY APPOINTMENT

Our studio is open by appointment for your convenience! Since we are a small family business, our studio is open to serve you - by appointment. Doctors, lawyers, dentists, and most other professionals operate by appointment, so it should see appropriate that a truly professional portrait studio would do this also. This applies to your portrait session, image review, order, and order pickup.

We are happy to schedule an appointment for you at your convenience, so that we can be sure that we will be available to help you. Normal appointment hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. Early morning, late evening, and holiday appointments are sometimes available upon request at an additional charge. These are our normal appointment hours; however, some of our appointments are on location which take us away from the studio, so it is always best tot call to schedule an appointment before you begin your trip to Minerva!

REGARDING CREATION FEES...

A skilled, creative, photography artist is the prime ingredient in a portrait session; in addition to other studio costs. These combine to make a creation fee. The cost of the creation fee is in addition to the cost of prints and is due at the time of photography and is non-refundable.

REGARDING PREVIEWS...

The Image Book: The image book that is presented to you to make your order selections is a tool to help you with the ordering process. THIS BOOK IS STUDIO PROPERTY. The image book is not for sale until you place a minimum order. You may borrow it to make your selections for THREE days. An appointment has bee scheduled for you to return your image book and place your order within this time frame.

If, for some reason, you cannot may your appointment, please five 24 hours notice and call to reschedule your appointment (at which point special offers become void). A $5 per day charge will be applied to your order for every day beyond three that the appointment is not rescheduled. Each unreturned image book is billed to you as  a rental of photography at a cost of $1500 per book, plus tax.

Previews: Previews are still available with a minimum order of $350. Previews are $15 each. There is only one set of previews available. REMEMBER: PREVIEWS ARE THE UN-RETOUCHED VERSION OF THE FINISHED PRODUCT! If there is something you wish to change or are in doubt about, ask when placing your order. We recommend retouched, color-balance 4x5 portraits over the previews. Additional retouched, color-balanced, finished 4x5 portraits are available at $30 each.

REGARDING COLLECTIONS...

Collections are configured for your convenience. Please note that each collection contains certain amounts of poses. We do not exchange products in our collections. If  our packages do not facilitate your needs, you may purchase your selections from the "Additional Portraits" or A La Carte section of the pricing guide.

REGARDING RETOUCHING...

Our modern retouching methods will remove blemishes and soften harsh lines on the face. Corrections of hair, clothing, shadows from dark-rimmed glasses, and photo-gray lenses are not included in retouching, but can be corrected at an additional charge, if requested by the customer. Classic retouching is included with everything you order from Dunlap Photography EXCEPT previews. Please see the "Art Services" section of the pricing guide.

REGARDING FINANCES...

It is normal for clients to prepay for their order; however, we do offer a flexible payment plan. You are welcome to make monthly payments - the amount is up to you. We will begin to process your order when you have place 50% down. A 50% deposit is required to begin any portrait order. The balance may be paid at the completion of the order. No partial orders will be delivered. Visa, MasterCard, and Discover are welcome. VIP RED PRICING is available for clients who pay in full before the deadline, with a qualifying order. Ask us!

REGARDING COUPONS...

If you are taking advantage of one of our coupon offers, the coupon must be presented at the time stated on the face of the coupon. Only one coupon per client will be honored.

REGARDING COPYRIGHTS...

ALL PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGES ARE COPYRIGHT OF DUNLAP PHOTOGRAPHY and scanning, copying, or reproducing them in any way without written consent of Dunlap Photography is illegal. Prints may be reordered at any time at the current prices. We do not guarantee availability.

Scanning ANY Dunlap Photography product/image is against the law. This includes, but is not limited to: scanning wallets or previews on your home computer, putting images on websites/internet/social media, putting images on photo products, party invitations, or scanning to e-mail. If you need assistance in this matter, PLEASE ASK! Many times, Dunlap Photography will provide a copyright release for certain situations/products that we do not offer for a $20 fee. A copyright release appointment (approximately 30 minutes) is required for this release. PLEASE RESPECT THE HARD WORK AND DEDICATION THAT IS INVOLVED WITH YOUR IMAGES...DO NOT SCAN!

Why? Simply put, a copied photograph always loses much of the original quality, clarity, ad color you expect in a Dunlap Photography portrait. Since this poor quality would reflect on the reputation of our work, we reserve the copyright on every photo we create. We also reserve the right to refuse to sell photographs to anyone we suspect may attempt to copy them.

Dunlap Photography reserves the right to use all photographic images and/or reproductions for the purposes of promotional display, exhibits, contest, and other purposes, including, but not limited to: advertising, promotion, and social media. Images remain the property of Dunlap Photography and we have the exclusive right to make additional reproductions of them for the client.

REGARDING FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM...

If we have tagged an image of you on our social media sites, you are welcome to use it as your profile image. HOWEVER, please do not alter the image in any way - including cropping. Our Dunlap Photography Logo must remain in tact.

REGARDING YEARBOOK WALLETS...

One yearbook wallet will be provided at no charge for schools which require them, with a minimum order of $350. Additional yearbook wallets may be purchased at $15 each and require 20 working days to produce. The student assumes responsibility to allow enough time for the production and delivery of yearbook wallets. Any rush charges incurred to facilitate a school deadline due to late session dates, etc., will be passed on to the customer.

Dunlap Photography will provide one yearbook wallet to your home school accompanying a minimum qualifying order. If you attend a vocational school, you may five them one of your package wallets or order an additional yearbook wallet at regular prices with regular delivery. The student assumes responsibility to deliver wallets to all vocational schools.

REGARDING FINISHED ORDERS...

Dunlap Photography will not be responsible for storage of completed orders after 90 days from notification, and is entitled to all monies previously received as just compensation. Finished orders can be shipped for $20. We will not ship any orders containing glass.

REGARDING NSF CHECKS...

Any check returned to Dunlap Photography for NSF will be charged a $25 service fee and turned over to the Minerva Police Department. Clients are welcome to order future merchandise, but unfortunately, will be on a cash or money order basis for all subsequent orders.
